Eat your Veggies! June 17th is National Eat Your Veggies Day, and that’s a celebration we at Cook for Your Life just can’t pass up. We live to help you eat your veggies as deliciously and in as many tasty ways as you can! Eating a wide variety of them is great for our overall health. They put vitamins, fiber and a slew of cancer fighting anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory phytonutrients onto our plates, as well as wonderful flavor. You can eat your veggies in soups, pastas, stews, and of course salads. And once you and your veggies make the leap from mealtime sideshow to main event, suddenly the goal of eating 2.5 cups ( or 5 servings) per day of them becomes that much easier.
