September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month. According to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society great progress has been made in treating blood cancers with survival rates doubling, tripling, or even quadrupling since 1949. That’s great news! For both those in treatment and out of treatment, maintaining a well-balanced healthy diet is one of the most important ways to keep your body strong to fight cancer or help reduce the risk of recurrence. We’ve compiled a list of recipes that are both good for those going through treatment and for those well into survivorship who need to maintain good health!
