Pulses are one of the healthiest most nutritious cancer fighting foods we can eat. They come in all shapes and sizes from big fat creamy lima beans, to nutty chickpeas, to tiny little lentils. No matter their shape or size, all are packed with protein, minerals and fiber. They are super versatile as well, you can even make cakes and cookies with them. Add pulses to soups, stews, pastas, you name it – they will make any dish they go into tastier and more nutritious. Since we dedicated a menu to lentils last week, beans and peas are starts of the show this time. Check them out!
