Healthy Holiday: Memorial Day

It’s almost Memorial Day weekend! Students are graduating, the days are getting longer, and of course, it’s barbecue season again! Check out some tips and recipes to help you host a healthy Memorial Day celebration:

-Be sure to include plenty of veggie and salad side dishes so you can fill most of your plate with the good stuff, leaving a little room for those special holiday treats.
-Try making some of your favorite grilled classics in a healthier way. Substitute red meat with turkey, chicken, or portobello mushrooms.
-Wear sunscreen!
