  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
  • 4 whole wheat pita pockets, split in half

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Whisk together olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic, if using.
  3. Brush oil mixture on the rough, inside part of the pita, then stack pita and cut into sixths or desired size.
  4. Arrange pita pieces on a baking sheet and bake until crispy and browned, about 8 to 10 minutes. Cool and serve.
