This simple chicken sausage with apples and onions sauté is fast, easy, and of course delicious. The chicken sausage combined with the apples provides a gentle blend of sweet and savory. The lemon juice helps elevate the flavors in just the right way making this a mouthwatering must have!

Preparation

1. In a saucepan heat olive oil over medium low heat. Add onions and cook until
translucent.

2. Add apples, chicken sausage and thyme to the pan. Add a few tablespoons of water and season with salt and pepper and add lemon juice. Cook until the apples are soft and the sausage is heated through, about 15 minutes.
