Condensed Coconut milk can be used wherever regular condensed cow’s milk is used. Bear in mind that although this milk has the same texture as regular condensed milk, it will bring the the flavor of coconut to your dish. - In a medium saucepan over medium heat, mix together coconut milk and sugar. Bring to a simmer and cook until it thickens to the consistency where it creates a ribbon if you pull up the spoon.
1 15 oz can of coconut milk
¼ cup coconut sugar
Ann's Tips and Tricks
You must use regular canned coconut milk and not boxed milk otherwise it won’t thicken.
Coconut sugar gives extra flavor but if you don’t normally use it, use the same amount of cane sugar.
