Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, mix together coconut milk and sugar. Bring to a simmer and cook until it thickens to the consistency where it creates a ribbon if you pull up the spoon.

Chef Tips

You must use regular canned coconut milk and not boxed milk, otherwise it won’t thicken.

Coconut sugar gives extra flavor, but if you don’t normally use it, use the same amount of cane sugar.
