The name of this nostalgic snack requires you to use your imagination a bit – as in raisin “ants” walking up a peanut butter filled celery “log”. With the benefits of protein from the peanut butter and fiber from the raisins, this is the perfect crunchy afternoon snack for kids and adults alike.
1. Evenly fill the hollows of the celery with peanut butter, then dot with raisins.
- 2 stalks of celery, washed, trimmed and halved
- 3 tablespoons all natural peanut butter, or other nut butter
- ¼ cup Thompson or golden raisins
Ann's Tips and Tricks
For nut allergies try making this snack with a low fat cream cheese spread instead of nut butter.
