This Banana Coconut Smoothie has to be one of the easiest recipes we have on the site, and if you are a fan of coconut this one is for you. Not only is it super soothing and delicious, except for low-calorie, it covers nearly all of our Health Considerations and it is vegan
1. Combine all ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth. Taste for sweetness then serve immediately.
- ¾ cup coconut milk
- 1 small frozen banana (See Ann’s Tips)
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 2 ice cubes
- 2 tablespoons water, as needed
Ann's Tips and Tricks
To freeze bananas, when ripe peel then cover in plastic wrap and freeze.
Leftover coconut milk can also be frozen if not consumed within 3 days. Freeze in a re-sealable plastic bag.
