  • 2 cups strawberries, washed and hulled or 1 (10 ounce) bag frozen strawberries
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup to taste
  • 1 tablespoon water

Directions

  1. Place the strawberries in a microwave-safe ceramic or Pyrex bowl and sprinkle with the sugar and water. Cover with a ceramic plate and cook at high power for 2 minutes.
  2. Remove from the microwave and uncover carefully, as there will be steam. Stir the fruit to mix. Cover with the plate again and return to the microwave. Cook at high power for 1 minute more, then leave it covered in the oven to steam for 5 to 10 minutes. That''s it!
