Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons flax seeds
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • ½ cup silken tofu
  • 2 tablespoons agave syrup
  • 1 cup almond milk

Directions

  1. Add flax seeds to a blender. Blend the seeds until they form a powder/paste.
  2. Add the blueberries, tofu, agave, and almond milk to the blender and puree until all of the ingredients are combined, about 2 minutes.

Chef Tips

If your blender isn’t very powerful, in Step 1 start blending the flax seeds and gradually adding ¼ cup of the almond milk to help them blend into a fine puree. Then go to step 2, adding the rest of the almond milk and the other ingredients.

If you want to lighten the texture up, blend a little crushed ice into it at the end.
