Smoothies can either be a great meal replacement, or be something nutritious to sip on when treatment has left you less than hungry. This delicious smoothie is not only vegan, it is choc full of antioxidants and protein to help your recovery.

It’s nutritious and filling. Give it a try!

Preparation

1. Add flax seeds to a blender. Blend the seeds until they form a powder/paste.

2. Add the blueberries, tofu, agave, and almond milk to the blender and puree until all of the ingredients are combined, about 2 minutes.

Ann's Tips and Tricks

If your blender isn’t very powerful, in Step 1 start blending the flax seeds and gradually adding ¼ cup of the almond milk to help them blend into a fine puree. Go to step 2 adding the rest of the almond milk and the other ingredients.

If you want to lighten the texture up, blend a little crushed ice into it at the end
