This Overnight Oatmeal recipe comes straight from the home of one of our recipe testers at Drexel University. It’s a great way to ensure a good meal in the morning, even if you have to run out the door in a flash. The oatmeal will soak in all the milk and flavors from the spices overnight – making it the perfect, simple, nutritious breakfast. Click here for the video!


1. In a container with a lid, place the oats, almond milk, cherries, chia seeds, vanilla, and cinnamon. Stir to combine and cover with the lid.

2. Place the container in the refrigerator overnight, at least six hours.

3. In the morning, remove from the refrigerator and serve cold or warm in microwave. Top with nuts or berries as desired.

Ann's Tips and Tricks

Overnight oatmeal can be made in any way you like. Different dried fruit, non-dairy milk, different spices, and nuts can be added to suit your liking.
