Ingredients

  • ½ recipe Microwave Strawberry Compote(if you have to be careful of seeds, see Ann’s Tips)
  • ¾ cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup cooked Oatmeal
  • Milk, as needed
  • A few ice cubes

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Taste for sweetness and adjust milk for consistency. Enjoy!

Chef Tips

If you have to be careful of eating small seeds, just push the compote through a medium sieve with the back of a spoon straight into the blender. The compote is soft, and this won’t take too much effort to do.

You can substitute the milk for soy or almond milk, if you prefer it.
