With the Holidays coming up I thought this intro to baking could be useful. For me baking has two purposes. The first is relaxation. When I went through treatment I found baking could be a truly relaxing pastime with the bonus of instant, delicious results that genuinely pleased everyone myself included. At a time when I didn’t have much control over anything, it felt really good. The second is pleasure. When it is time for baked treats, savory or sweet, instead of going to the store, consider rustling up some of these easy little gems instead. I can assure you you won’t need to be a master baker to get great results! All the recipes are quick, all are easy, and all are pretty much foolproof. They will allow you, your friends and family, to indulge in the pleasure of simple treats made with whole ingredients, and about half the sugar of similar commercial products.
